What We’re Working On..

Well I am in full creation mode right now, getting things ready so that I have patterns for the winter season! Here is a prototype mitten and hat, which will go with the cowl l I’ve been working on, for a winter set of 3 accessories in chunky weight yarn. These will be quick knits. I’m halfway through writing up all the patterns and sizes and tweaking some bits of the designs, then I’ll knit final samples up for photos.

I’m still working on Deann’s Pocion shawl and we’re editing that one up as we go. My yarn has been misbehaving, it has some very dark green sections in it and those are not agreeing with my eyesight! But we’re getting there on that one and I hope to show a finished shawl soon. Once I’ve finished with my winter pieces and the shawl test I’ll be knitting a new set of my Christmas “bottler” ornaments! Can’t wait. I love making those. So there will be lots appearing in the next month or two!

I don’t have much knitting to show for this week.. I have been under the weather lately and it has culminated in me being overly exhausted. Too exhausted to even craft much unfortunately. I have only knit a few rounds here and there. Ellen and I have been working on my shawl pattern, Poción, and will hopefully have it ready for testing soon.
