Secret Santa Exchange….part two!

posted in: Uncategorized | 1

Deann recently showed us what she gave and received in the little gift exchange we were both participating in over Christmas with our yarny friends.

You read all about what I made for my gift, a cute teddy for Barbara in this post 🙂 Here’s a little picture of him again.

And here is what I was lucky enough to receive, from our good friend Padma, who was making my gift and sent it all the way from India.

My gift was a very pretty fabric bowl and mini project bag (beautifully made!), and some wonderful crocheted goodies. There are two amigurumi, a cute little beaver (who waves at me!) and a sweet little witch toy, along with a Santa decoration which I will treasure each Christmas. Thank you Padma! I love all my gifts they are so nice. I managed to catch a horrible virus over Christmas and was ill the entire holidays so the arrival of all these lovelies totally cheered me up!

I’ve really enjoyed participating in our Secret Santa gift exchange, it has been great to see what everyone made and to get and give things that are really unique and made with lots of love.

These were not the only yarny gifts I got over the holidays, I’ll show you the other things I got in my next posting….see you then!
