A little pin cushion with a traditional Fair Isle look. Great for using leftover oddments of fingering weight yarn.

Worked in the round, stuffed and then sewn up at each end.

Skills required: stranded colourwork, colour chart reading, working a small piece in the round on double-pointed needles (or magic loop if preferred), seaming.

Uses 7 different shades of small amounts of fingering weight yarn.

Needles:
US 2 (2.75 mm)


Yarn
: Light Fingering

Gauge: 8 stitches and 9 rows = 1 inch (2.5cm) in colourwork pattern

Materials:
120 yards (110 m) of light fingering yarn
Tapestry needle, to weave in ends
Sizes Available:
Approximately 9 x 9 cm (3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches)
