Pattern Release: ZigZag!

posted in: Uncategorized | 11

I finally have one of my patterns finished! I have been really procrastiknitting this past year on finishing up the patterns I have ‘almost ready’.. One down and about a bajillion more to go! ;)

Introducing…. ZigZag!

ZigZag 7

ZigZag is a lovely hat that uses simple knit and purl stitches to give a great textured effect. This offset rib pattern really makes for a striking hat. Everyone loves it when they see mine and have asked for the pattern. Well, here you are! Knit in DK or light worsted weight yarn, ZigZag is a nice lightweight hat great for spring and fall. Knit in wool and it will be wonderful for winter time as well! I came up with ZigZag last November and really enjoyed wearing it when it was hat season here. I have made a few of them for gifts and people love them.

Speaking of gifts, the pattern is fully edited and tested by Ellen who made this very lovely green version that is going to be a gift for her mom!

OMG, maybe I’m crazy, but I’m looking at the pics thinking, “How can I add another color to this?” I can’t wait to download this pattern! Looks incredible!

Hi LaShon :) Thank you! <3
If you do add an extra color I think choose either the Knits or Purls to be the second color and you will get a really cool effect. I haven’t tried it yet, but I am sure it will look great. Please post a picture of yours when you make it, I would love to see it!
